Hi girls, Cindy I bought the vials on a market flower where they sell flowers in cuts like roses, orchids and others. puglvr1 those cuts came by mail, I only bought in my luggage the fragiles ones, only 10 or 15 inside the pants, LOL, and they passed through customs with no problem, I even lost 2 cuts after arriving, I could not find them in my clothes!!!! It was a great pleasure to share with all of you my Los Angeles Adventurer TRIP!!!! I'm returning on my next vacation but probably going to Florida where hoyas are more common, because in Los Angeles I didn't find any!!!! So I had to buy some from Ted Green and did not buy more because I was very scared about bringing them to Brazil, now I'm more confident than ever!!! And I know already that I can ship them in the vials and they will arrive just perfect! We all could go to Thailand, let's make a nice trip together all the hoya lovers in Thailand! Let's plan!!! I seldom get cold, I can sleep through the nightly train that runs through town at 2 am two blocks away and the light doesn't bother me either. I'm short, so the bed is always long enough, but my big travel issue is the bed. I swear that every time I book a motel they quickly arrange to send the same lousy hard bed. I doubt that I can pack a mattress, LOL. Of course, I still sleep on my old king sized waterbed, leftover from my "hippie" days. Elery says when I grow up, I'll get a big girl bed, LOL. I hope not. Clare, on another level, I wat taking some glass to recycle last week and there was a broken picture frame in the bag. Of course, the shard stuck through the bag and into the outside of my left knee. Not one bandaid or other thing in the Jeep except black electrical tape. So, I pulled both edges of the puncture together and taped it with black electrical tape and then drove to the Emergency Room. They know me on a first name basis, LOL, and now they'll talk about that black electrical tape forever. Two stitches later that electrical tape stayed on better than their surgical tape! Carol (dishesdone) tells me that's an "electrician's bandaid". Annie

I think you've gotten some great advice; hope you don't mine me chiming in with more luggage stories. I have never had trouble identifying my luggage, as one case is avocado green and the other is purple paisley. But my daughter reported that someone, maybe Rockybird's dad, had tried to grab my soft-side avocado green bag. Fortunately, they checked the tag and put it back on the conveyor. My daughter then saw them pull a forest green hard-sided case of the conveyor belt that was apparently the correct one. It looked nothing like mine. Just goes to show, even if your luggage is distinctive, you aren't safe from people who have no idea what their luggage looks like.

@Elmer J Fudd - perhaps you haven't read the article, or listened to it on the news -- but recently a woman was traveling and had her name, home address, and cell phone number on her luggage tag. As she was waiting in line to board the flight, she was getting text messages from a total stranger who knew what she was wearing, what flight she was boarding, etc. Once she was seated on the plane, she continued to get text messages from the guy, who wanted her to come sit next to him. He apparently worked for the airline (American Airlines) and wrote that he could use his connections to get her into the elite lounge, seat upgrades, etc. She notified a flight attendant, who told her they've had issues with this guy before. The flight attendant made sure the guy never came near the woman, and when the plane landed, he was removed by security. I think he has also been let go by American. Oh - yes, the guy admitted to her in texts that he'd gotten her from her luggage tag.
