| We are picking up a puppy for our 5 y.o. son near Buffalo,ny. We would like to stay in a historical Erie Canal town the night before. The time will be the June 27th weekend - any recommendations? Thanks, Paul |

| We stayed last year in Adams Basin (between Brockport and Spencerport) at the Adams Basin Inn and it was great! Wonderful food and beautiful location right on the canal. There are many lovely little towns on the canal. Penfield is another one but I have never stayed there. There is a great crepe restaurant in Penfield. |
