If everything is okay for you to fly, don't worry too much about not being around an American hospital. We have no monopoly on good health care. Just be aware that in many cases, your health insurance in the U.S. will not cover health care abroad, so check on this. If that's the case, check on buying some travel insurance that will cover any medical bills while you're vacationing.
