aruba is a pit

| just a warning... it's loaded with people who are unable to take a dip in the sea without carrying a drink in one hand and a cigarette in the other. draw your own conclusions but i think i'm pretty much on the money with my assessment. we stayed at a condo that calls itself a "resort" ...the playa linda. these units were as dreadful as the island itself. old, musty and in need of a full renovation. not much in the way of service either. so there it is. not for those who are looking for peace and outstanding amenities. |

We were in Aruba last February, we did not stay there, only there for the day as we were on a cruise.
We shopped, rented a car and drove the island and really enjoyed it. Everyone was so nice, no complaints.
But, we didn't stay there! |
