Anyone know where to stay in Chicago not far from O'hare?

| I am getting ready to go to Chicago and flying in to O'hare the end of February to meet my sister and we don't know the area. We would like to eat, drink and shop (girly things). Anyone know the place to go there that isn't far from the airport, and a nice hotel as well? Or if you can tell me where to post this, I'll be happy to do that as well. Thank you.
Btw, any recommendations for hotels there for not more than about $200/nt? |

| We have decided to stay near the Magnificent Mile and shop there. Are there any good restaurants there that are not super expensive, or are they all expensive in that area? My idea of expensive would be more than $12 for lunch and $15 for dinner. |
