Yes, they included the plumbing fixtures as well. It's all set to be installed. I just need to get the pieces necesarry for adding a shower with it. This is my only bathroom at the cottage and while a tub is great, a shower is a necessity! I did see that the feet were another $1700!! That's insane. What I think happened is that the owners donated it to the church so they could take the tax donation then it was the church selling it either through their rummage sale or via craigslist. I happened to find it on craigs list and had no idea what I was really looking at. I had no idea bathtubs could be so insanely expensive. I've never redecorated a house before so I was totally clueless. Susan

Re: Sell By Date - At my supermarket, most fresh meats have a Sell By date as opposed to a "Best if used by" date. I once asked the butcher about this and he told me to consider it a conservative Use By Date, and that the meat will be good for a minimum of 1-2 days after that. I have also noticed that all custom cuts both from the butcher or deli and any other deli orders will always have the current date as the Sell By date. My rule of thumb - use raw pre-packaged food by Sell By Date, buy custom cut raw meat within a day or two of cooking, eat deli salads ASAP so they don't get mushy, eat cold cuts within 3-4 days of slicing. I've been known to stretch the cold cuts a bit.

That's awesome, nicole! Let's see. Hubby's birthday is this week and I scored a free room for two nights at Harvey's South Lake Tahoe with a view of the lake. I can't really take credit though. I get this free offer twice a year ever since I signed up for their rewards program. I always take them up on the offer if we're not busy with something else and we always have a great time. Other than that, our local market sent out some great coupons a month or so ago. Each week a different coupon is valid and then expires at the end of the week. For the life of me, I haven't been able to remember to use those darn coupons until finally last week. Got a 12 pack of toilet paper for free! Also, I've been working on a new flower bed and needed some sort of border to hold the soil back. After looking at what's available at the nurseries and DIY stores and seeing nothing that appealed to me, I went down the road and gathered all the boulders I wanted for free to use as my border. On a roll here (no pun intended)!

Yes, I have noticed considerable fluctuation in pricing in all the Wayfair companies. I did think their Way Day sale was phenomenal but I did not purchase because indecision is real. I also have used google to search for items if I have the manufacturer name (the item name frequently changes even within the Wayfair companies) and have found variability on that. I did order something from BirchLane a few weeks ago and after I had checked all the deals and discounts I found sometimes a cheaper price would then charge for shipping. I have been using the program HONEY and that also does searches and told me this was the best deal. Anyway now of course I am sorry I didn't bite the bullet and order some major items during their sale. There were a few which were maybe $700 usually and on Way Day were like $450. Now it kills me to see it at $700 so this is a good reminder to kind of wait and see.
