| Yes, I spent a week on Topsail. There are few, if any, "amusement" type things to do which is precisely why we liked it so much. It is very laid back. Fortunately and to my knowledge, there is no putt-putt or minature race cars. We combed the beach for seashells and sharks teeth--found some beauts! and rented a Boston Whaler boat for a day on the Intercoastal waterway. That's about it for activities. I know where the Villa Capriani Resort is. It's on the north end of the island. It's a wonder they were ever allowed to build there, because it's a narrow, fragile area. |
