| We would like to visit both of these states. Have never been to either one. Any ideas as to places to see that would be of interest to a couple of Northern folks? Would like to avoid New Orleans or tourist places and just experience the culture and ambience of those states. Any information or advice would be appreciated. |

| Melanie, You don't say how you're getting there, but if you're driving, I'd highly recommend taking the Natchez Trace parkway. It's beautiful and there's a lot of historical stops along the way. |

| Thanks Nedra, Thanks Lulie, appreciate the advise. We will be driving so will definitely do the Natchez Trace Parkway. We are also into history so it sounds like a perfect place to visit. Also, the swamp tour, this is intriguing and certainly something we would never see around here. LOL Thanks again Mel |
