Cruising

Well..........just came home from a Princess Panama Canal Cruise and loved it all...... except my roommate. I will travel alone from now on. LOL We flew to San Juan, toured the city and The Bacardi Rum Factory, loved the samples, then boarded The Island Princess and visited 7 countries. Lots of pins to put on my world map. I was lucky regarding the canal. You can't see a lot of what is going on in the canal aboard a ship. The Van Goh, a very small cruise ship was in the other lane going the same direction so I watched his trip through. Wonderful experience!

Wow!I'm jealous..:) I haven't been to a cruise but am about to board on one via the Regent Seven Seas Cruises from Ft. Lauderdale to Portugal this summer. I'm a bit scared, ok, I am scared big time. But by the looks of your happines, I'm quite relieved.

Thanks for the reply. It was wonderful. I have booked a land tour followed by a 7 day cruise to Alaska. We spend a lot of time in Denali and am looking forward to that and looking forward to seeing the ice bergs/glaciers or whatever they are called.

RE: Cruising

Princess has land and sea tours on their web sites, so it probably is through them. The local tour company I use is a little more expensive than other companies I have used, but the accommodation's are the best I have had except for the exclusive lodges in Africa.
