train travel with children

| We are planning a trip in mid may from New York to Florida taking amtrak. Any suggestions for anyone travelling long distance on a train with children from 10-13. |

| I have not traveled by train with children but my first thought is to take a couple electronic games...but make sure they have a mute button so you aren't annoying other passengers with the continuous beeping. Take snacks (but not chocolate which could melt and be messy) and their favorite sodas and juices. You'll also want plenty of anti-bacterial wet wipes. Hope this helps. |
