| We will be going to Dover this summer and I was trying to find out where the nearest beach is.I haven't found any beaches mentioned for Kent County online. Any information about the area will be appreciated. Thanks! |

| Delaware beaches include Bethany and Rehobeth. South of Rehobeth is Ocean City MD which is more commercial and has a great boardwalk. Depends on what you are looking for... |

Rehoboth Beach and Dewey, Fenwick Island, etc. all South of Dover. Also you could take the ferry over to Cape May, N.J. from Lewes,De. I lived in Delaware for about 30 years, wonderful state.. Dover is the State Capitol..also home of Dover Air Force Base, but still has the small town charm.
Enjoy your vacation and great place to shop,, no State Sales Tax !!! Lots of Outlets in Rehoboth too! |
