Not sure where you live, but Myrtle Beach has tons for kids of all ages. Shows, putt-putt golf, beaches. We stayed several years at The Crown Reef. All rooms are oceanfront and all but the lowest priced ones have kitchens. They also have several pools, lazy river, kids club, couple of restaurants (including a cafeteria that serves hot dogs, chips, etc. at VERY cheap prices).

Of course there's Disney if the price isn't prohibiting! We stayed at the All Star Sports resort (they also have a music themed one) that was the most reasonable and you still get shuttle rides to the parks.
