| May I suggest? St Pete Beach on the Gulf of Mexico. You'll find life more 'laid back' than on the east coast-gorgeous sand & surf & lots to do within a 10 drive up & down Gulf Boulevard. The link provided is a great place..the swimming pool even has a bridge over it! They own 3 neighboring hotels-even have gondola rides between 2 that I know of. Also "Kids Night Out"-so mom & dad get an evening to themselves. You can go from St Pete north on Gulf Blvd-up to Clearwater Beach, (about 12 miles)-they have a "Pirate ship cruise" your daughter would enjoy..this link has oodles of hotels listed on the right sidebar.
