How do I include pics?

I've been a lurker here for years, but only an occasional poster because I don't know how to include pics of my own projects. I'm a bit of a moron at stuff like that - but a TOTAL whizz at turning trash to treasure (I think). I'd so like to share some of my own ideas sometimes but don't know how.

I like to use tinypic.com. You just have to go to their site,browse to pick out the picture you want, upload it and then click top line shown and paste it in your message. This is not a storage site, but rather a place to upload the picture you have wherever you keep them, such as My Pictures. I find it the simplest to use.

Thanks alot for all your answers! Actually now I have a new question about what I should be feeding it. I never gave it plant food before (I was thinking of getting Bloom Booster, but then I saw the inflo. comming out). I think I might have given it Miracle Gro once back in May or June, but thats about it. Im not sure if I should start giving it food now or if the plant food would make the plant abort the flower buds and start producing leaves. I also want to make sure that no buds fall off (it would be a pretty sad sight if it does). Im thinking that any plant food I give it should be high in phosphorus to give it more blooms and a plant food like bloom booster shouldnt cause problems, but I want to make sure. Also is miracle gro okay too. I also have a fertilizer with the numbers 8-12-4 but Im afraid to use it on my plumeria. Thanks again for all your help!

Oh, what a face! Great-looking little doggie. I agree: Beagle coloring, body and tail, as others have stated. Also shepherd. I don't see aussie cattle in there. Remember that mixed-breed dogs are often a mix of many breeds, not the spawn of two purebreds. So you could pick as many as seem appropriate. For instance, my dog is border-collie, chow, black lab and something small. Plus whatever else she might be...

hey guys i did some more research on this and i have come up with some great discoveries to share with you. 1. the official names to these are: Royal Copenhagen plaques. These two pieces I have shared with you here are 2 out of a collection of 4 plaques which together make up the so-called Four Seasons of Life. Check them out on google they're gorgeous. 2. Now regarding hanging and framing, unfortunately since our wall is clear white it doesnt make sense to hang them up on the wall so we are considering mounting them on a velvet frame, something like this... http://p2.la-img.com/255/11673/3034247_1_l.jpg Thank you everybody for your feedback you're very helpful! Your kitchen really reminds me of mine before we started our renovation. I have some before pics to share below, sorry they are so dark, but the kitchen was dark, I guess. But just notice the change the painted cabinets made.... My hardwood is in the foyer with only a 30" doorway where the floors meet. I could have gone with hardwood but decided not to, we are doing cork plank flooring. I don't think you should start a new hardwood floor in your kitchen unless it matched. I can tell you one of the biggest changes for us was painting the existing cabinets a shade of white. It took a long time. (there is a lot of information on how-to available on GW). But in my opinion it was so worth the effort. We moved our fridge too which opened up the stove wall for more cabinet space--huge difference. If you put a small island in the middle, you could hang a nice light fixture over it as well as changing the overhead light over the sink to a pendant as previously mentioned. Just last night we completed the recessed lights--wow. My kitchen has never been so bright! These were done in existing drywall, so you could do that too. We also are doing under cabinet lights--that might be something to think about. I think the drop in sink would be nice too. Are you keeping the counters, they seem pretty neutral. Mine were seafoam green. Not so neutral. Here are some pics of before and during (we still aren't done) for you to get an idea (remember--new floor isn't down yet). Sorry, I haven't gone around and taken photos from same spots exactly as in the before shots, but it is to give you an idea....

I can't believe this. I had the whole thing written here and cancelled the message! *sigh*

OK, again, I had just asked this question myself and was helped by so many great people I hope I can help you two in turn! It's so great to be able to contribute, and everyone loves the pics!

First, your pictures have to come from an outside source, you can't upload directly from your files. I can tell you about Photobucket, which I joined instead of Tinypics. (I am not at all tech savay). I'm going to assume you go to Photobucket's site and join there. IT seemed really easy to me to click and set up my first album. Then, on the right of the screen is a place to upload your pictures. Just click on "Brouse" and find your picture in your files. Double click and the picture will appear in your album lower on that screen.

To add a picture here then, (it's easiest if both Photobucket and the Forum are open on your desktop)... in your Photobucket album just left click on the third item down right under your picture which is the HTML code. You will see that it says "copied". Then go to your post in the forum and put your curser where you want the picture in your text, and hit "paste". You will see what looks like gibberish, but when you go to "preview message" and look at the final message, the photo has magically appeared! Then submit the message.

I did this all in the past couple of days. The only problem I had was that my photo files were too big for Photobucket to accept. (They were huge) I solved that
by inserting the pics in an email to myself, and then copying the new pics into my files. (You may have smaller pics to start with or a program that lets you resize your pics easily.)
