What to do with my old silverware tray

Hey all - just found this website and some great ideas here...looking for ideas for my old silverware tray - not a wire one, but solid plastic.

a little tidbit for recycling your old cardboard egg cartons.....fill each section with dryer lint, melt wax onto the lint, thenlet dry. Separate the pieces and you instantly have 12 little kindling cubes to help jumpstart any fire!

RE: What to do with my old silverware tray

Hi There,
MY very FIRST posting...just joined.
Old silver tray........I was just at a huge craft Fair in VA., and at a shabby chic booth, they had painted in Antiqued Ivory, many silver pieces and they looked good...they looked old and distressed. I tried it last night and it was great...too I tried it on an old mirror with a plastic frame and it looks so good.....at the craft fair they were charging
45.00 for it.....!!!! Worth a try.
