However, I need to ask your opinion - what should I do about preserving the wood? 1) Stain 2) Paint 3) Nothing - it's 3/4" plywood and might promote that 'Aloe Ranch' look which is, of course, casual yet elegant. A fun candy to have ingredients on hand & pull out when you have a group of people hanging out together. When my kids were younger their friends loved to make this & take some home to their family. Of course, eating mistakes is part of the fun! Christmas Pretzel Reindeer Recipe *fun for kids of all ages to make & eat! You will need: Pretzels (2 inch size work better than the ones that are dollar coin size.) Melted White Chocolate/vanilla almond bark (your glue) M and Ms Whole Almonds To make a reindeer: 1. Melt some white chocolate according to directions on the package 2. Lay the pretzel on a sheet of parchment paper 3. Fill the three pretzel holes with white chocolate using a teaspoon. 4. Place matching M and Ms in the two smaller holes for eyes setting on white chocolate. 5. Place a red M and M just below the eyes, in the larger space, for the nose. 6. Put almonds for ears above the eyes and a little to the outside 7. Break pretzels to form antlers and set then between the ears. Let it set up & store in an airtight container. Bev, I'm glad you liked your package. It was a lot of fun putting together, and when I thought I had enough, I'd come across something else to put in it...lol! When I was wrapping your gifts, Bump was watching and "administrating", and Stella still swears she helped! She kept getting into the wrapping paper and sitting on it! When I saw the canister of old-time candy it made me think of my childhood, and I was hoping it would do the same for you. Sadly, the canister was a bit bigger than the box was deep, but the candy made it through, which was the most important thing. As for the seam ripper and pins, I got those on one of my excursions to joanns. I was needing both, and I figured you could always use them too. Alright, I *think* I have my list updated, but we all know that's a day by day thing! It's kinda like Pokemon- Gotta catch 'em all! LOL! As far as my preferences, I'll be doing the card/seed swap, but not the others. I've found that I prefer RR swaps to true RRs, so I'm not going to do the Pinata. And Vincent and Devin are already involved in a children's birthday swap as well as being very well enabled by various Garden Buddies around here :) I'm not sure how much more their garden beds can hold! Now I just need to get around to updating my trade list of things I have available to trade :) Kathy
