| Can you paint on glass?, I'm thinking you could get a window or build a frame like a window & put glass in it & paint with glass paint on back side so looks like a flame or at least logs on a grate. Then add shelf above it & sides if needed. Seems like you could Google that & find something. My DD 1 year had a fake fireplace & it was quite nice & had electric cord & the logs glowed & looked like a fire.Think she got it for around $100. It had a mantle & sides looked like brick or stone. She got it from newspaper want ads under used furniture so check for anything like that for sale. I have a friend that has 3 fireplace mantles in her bedrooms, she is a great decorator & 1 room is Victorian & fireplace & mantle are a light green & beautiful, I think she did some painting on it so it has a vine on sides or something like that. She has pretty things on the top board & looks like the real thing because it did come from a house. Another room is completely different, Art Deco I think, fireplace is sleek & very different from the other room. She has a screen in front of 1 & I think a large fan spread out inside that. If you could find just a heavy shelf the right size & hang it then you could add sides & a screen. Anyway hope someone else has more ideas. |

| Here's One. They used to have a video of it. I think this is the one that comes apart for storage after the holidays. It was shown on the show, Room by Room |
