For my daughter, the Chem major, found this at a flea market with little left inside, but cute cabinet. Outfitted it with cork and hangers, cleaned it up and she can hang it in the dorm for a message board or shadowbox.

If it is deep enough that would be a cute way to store makeup items and make the days schedule available first thing in the am while getting ready for class. Or stock it with post-its, paper clips, a small stapler and other small items for a mini office/study center.

Yes.... it would be cool on the top of a desk --- or on the back of the Kitchen counter...
It is a really neat idea.... I like the little message/office center..... idea !!!
