Need HELP! I must have used wrong sealant, I just put one outside and the glue gets milky looking, the condensation I can live with, surrounded by sound and ocean what else is new. Please help, give me a name of the sealant you guys use, not just a type. Thanks obx

Mine did the same thing. It looked awful . I've recently begun to use Lexel Silicone Caulk . It dries Crystal clear and so far ( knock on wood ) it's holding up great. I got it at True Value Hardware store. I used to use GE Silicone II window & door caulk . That held up great - but got that milky look to it,too. Good luck on future totems ( it's addicting, isn't it ! )

I found out that I needed to use less of the GE Silicone II than I was originally using. I didn't like having it show. Just a small bead around the rim, then rub over it with my finger and it holds well and shows much less. Have never tried any other brands. Luvs
