| I had my first major trash to treasure break through.
I am going to use the metal flappy part of 3.5 floppy disks to make metal plant labels. I have figured out that I can use metal coat hangers to make the kind that stand up. Does anyone have any tightwad solutions on how to attach ones that I want to attach directly to the plant? Would the metal garbage bag twist ties work? MOST OF ALL- What can I do with rest of the disk? I have about 100 or so and feel guilty throwing them all away. ANY application- gardening or non will be useful. Thanks, Beth |

| Hope somebody has some great ideas for using those floppies. We have a bunch and I hate to throw them away! |

| I use old floppies as coasters, especially the red, blue, green, etc. ones. You could also use them to make quirky mobiles to give to computer-obsessed friends. |
