This has been a fun read. Lat week when I was grocery shopping, looking through the meat section, a man and his son were there, the son,( about 8 years old, had a large plastic dinosoare,he dropped it a few times, got bored waiting for his dad, so decided he would take the tail of his toy,and poke it into all the meat,not being content with that, he starts poking his finger into the meat,all while the dad was right next to him. I said to the dad," Your son just poked his toy into all the meat," he says to me,"Ya, whatever!Grabs a few steaks and walks away.I pulled all the meat,and gave it to the butcher,who,I hope, threw it out.I noticed, he did buy the meat his son "played" with. My SIL. took her young daughter grocery shopping one day,they always stopped for a bubblegum ice cream cone when they were done, this day, her daughter was not behaving,and :demanded: they go get an ice cream,now! When they were done shopping, she brought her daughter home, then went back out,alone,when she came home, she was chewing some bubble gum from the ice cream, her daughter wanted to know where she got it, she told her, "Well, we always stop for an ice cream, but you were so naughty, when I brought you home, I went and got one for my self"It sure was good, had extra gum in it this time, as she blew a bubble.She never has trouble with her after that, I thought that was brilliant. Not much bothers me,although, I can relate to the swinging bridge,when my children were small, the husband,thought it would be fun to " swing" the bridge,some things are just Not funny.To this day, I hate them, also, my youngest does not like to drive over bridges,he don't know why. Ha! cAROL

Very pretty Terri....I think it looks great as is!!! I thought about you today when I went to look for tealights in clear containers....yikes!! You would think I was asking for the moon, all they had were in tin cups...I finally found some, but I was wishing for you!!!!

Kathleen, you may be right about it being an umbrella stand. I don't even have an umbrella, never rains enough. LOL. Punk, yes the little metal thing on left is the candle holder (two birdnests) from Home Goods. Janet, if I don't have any shimmery leaves in my packed Fall floral, I'll get some. They would really catch the light from the chandelier over my kitchen table! Jane...you little genious! I never thought about the lighted branches in that tall stand! My DDIL even bought me some last year. Mine plug in but that's ok. But if I put them in there, with leaves/garland type around them, it might look really neat. I have a small round glass table top that could even go on top of it and then I could decorate that with something! Marlene, both tall and trailing sounds great to me. Especially as there is a light switch under it I'd like to hide (shows in photo from other post). And I do love cattails. I'm not sure how long the turkey feathers are, they are packed, but they'd look good and hopefully Jazz wouldn't find them 'up' there. Especially if the top of the teacart has decor on it to discourage him from napping there as he's now doing. I just knew you guys would be full of ideas to help me! I was especially stumped with the tall stand thing. I still might paint it, maybe the ORB that is so popular with bloggers on stuff. (oil rubbed bronze, spray paint, by Rustoleum I think. I've used it before and like it a lot). I just realized while ago how MANY posts I've had going lately!! Sheeesh, I'm hogging the Forum it seems. I didn't mean to do that. hugs, Karen

Wow, those are just so darling. I love the colors. I have to do those quick fixes sometimes also...I usually mosaic a rock though!!! Your friend will be so happy to get it..you are doing two for her right??!!! Gotta have a pair! Hey the next one's you do should have some mirror tile in them to reflect the candle light. That would be cool at night!
