I bought a pair of these lamps at a rummage sale. The lady said "Oh yeah -- they WORK" ... I just took her word for it and you guessed it -- they "work" if you know how to rewire them ! AAARRRGGGHHH !!!!! (I also have to screw on the top side lamp) All is not lost - I'm sure I can "recycle " them into SOMETHING !!!! They are each about 6 and a half feet tall ... any suggestions ?

| Toomuchglass, I am sorry, I don't have a suggestion for you as to how to recycle that floor lamp, but I just wanted to tell you I LOVE your TV trays. Did you find those at the same sale? I love the shabby chic look (what I call "grandma-ware", LOL). Totally awesome! Great find! |

| Those TV trays were from an earlier rummage sale ... reminds me of the ones we had when I was a kid! I'm thinking of Tall plant stands with a couple little birdie houses on the side - hopefully I can find a long trailing plant ! |
