JUST GOT BACK FROM VACATION WITH MY "JUNQUE FINDS". SHOPPED THE SALVATION AND GOODWILL AND BOUGHT ALL THE VIOLET PURPLE GLASSES I COULD FIND. WANT TO DISPLAY AS SUNCATCHERS AMONG MY FLOWERS. THINKING OF PUTTING ON A COPPER POLE OR SOME TYPE OF POLE TO DISPLAY. THANKING YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR IDEAS. HALLNGARDEN

I think I'd put them on tomato cages...the round ones and let the plants become the hair and face. There are plenty of plants in any garden that need support...this would certainly dress them up.

I'm assuming you mean like drinking glasses, and picturing a wide opening. See, I have a bottle tree in my flowerbed that is a 2x2x8 that I pounded into the ground. I then drilled holes in it and stuck in little dowel rods and put a colored bottle on each dowel. But I'm thinking that drinking glasses might not be stable on the little dowels. Um I'm wondering if you could get fat dowel rods and then put them in the ground here and there, and then put a glass on each one. You could scatter them throughout your flower beds. Have fun....I know the purple will look cool in the sun!
