| I saw a post about cowboy boot purses and wanted to share my story about them. I own several cowboy boot purses by Diamond 57. I love each one! I have had several designed from my boots to preserve the history of all the horse shows I've been to in these boots. She has amazing stories on her website of purses she's made from people's boots. It'll be worth your time to check them out or even order a purse from your own boots, or the boots of a loved one that has passed away. Country Woman Magazine (Aug/Sept 2008) just featured the designer in their magazine which also explain why she does what she does and how it all started in 2000.
This is the first purse I had designed. ![]() |

| Thanks for sharing. What a lovely purse and now a family heirloom. I checked out the link to Diamond 57. She is going to be very busy now after the article. My husband used to wear cowboy boots. Hummmm, I wonder if I saved any of them. Well, its a trip to the attic to go thru the many boxes of stuff that I've saved. |

| I first saw these in Country Woman. They are certainly unique and intriqing ....but how heavy! They'd be a 'killer' for my shoulder! |

| Yours is beautiful Kate. What a great idea. Boot leather uppers are very tough and as the website point out don't get that much wear. Thanks for sharing the website. kathy |
