Max, sorry this isn't the best picture. They are still out there in the cold and holding up pretty good. I did not use grout. Underneath I glued a wine cork that I'd drilled a hole into so it would set a small plastic rod. The whole project was cheap and only took a few hours(to let the adhesive dry) and I think they are a pretty addition to the flower bed. Carol

There's another pond below those 2 in the pictures. I love my ponds too. The birds come in the summer and bathe in the channel. I love to watch them and the sound, of the water and the falls, is very soothing. That window frame was very easy. Had the old frame, added the box on front, painted it, and its ready to go in the garden. I cant wait to see it after it's planted. Deb

Most areas will collect trees after week or two weeks after Christmas for recycling. At the time of recycling they are chopped into mulch, used to slow down erosion or added to compost. Christmas trees are biodegradable .

Go to a sporting goods store and get some woven Dacron fishing line (NOT mono filament). Use some pieces of wood as handles and make a cutting line. You 'saw' back and forth through the adhesive with the fishing line. If the mirror is to wide you may need two people to alternate pulling. It takes a while depending on how much adhesive is present, but is much safer than trying to break the mirror up. Put tape (this is actually a good use for 'duct' tape) along the cracks and start at the top and work down. If the only thing holding the mirror is the adhesive, a couple screws snug against the bottom edge of the mirror will take the weight when the adhesive lets go so the mirror does not slide down the door and hit the floor. Falling broken glass is VERY dangerous. It can cut all the way to bone if it has fallen any distance before hitting you.
