broken mirror

I broke this TS mirror when I was trying to take off the back in order to paint the frame to match my daughters room. I almost gave up and just used the mirror part for a mosaic ball I am doing but I had an idea.

I am very pleased with the result and my DD loves it more than the original.

PS. Yes the wall is painted in stripes-3 different colors ;)

RE: broken mirror

That's a great idea to save a mirror. I can clearly see (no pun intended) this idea will be used by others on broken glass. Thanks for sharing.

I would never have thought to do that. That is such a clever idea. It makes me want to break a mirror just to "fix" it. LOL

RE: broken mirror

It looks great and I guess you wouldn't have to break a mirror to try it out. You could just do it over an unbroken one. Good save! ~Anj

Beautiful and I like it better than if it was just all mirror. This way it's 'one of a kind' and very unique.

Way cool. It looks great, and you saved the mirror to use rather than having to buy another one. Clever and genius.
