| I am always drawn to those old ceiling glass light shades that would hang by small ball chains. In fact bought one years ago and carted from house to house but was never able to find the ceiling fixture part. Looking at the ceiling light in our latest house, one of those that holds the globe on with three screws, figured that I can put the ball chain thru the screw hole in the fixture. It's held in place by those bell shaped things that are usually found on the ends if your ceiling fan chains. Then run the chain thru the holes in the glass fixture and hold the chain in place by using those bell 'thingee's on the outside. Works perfectly. Got the ball chain and the chain ends from the home improvement store. |
