| My hex /house blessing sign is made from an old wooden piece that held a dresser mirror. (I got it out of the trash on the side of the road! LOL)
Think "primitive" on the painting, wouldya!? LOL

That is very lovely Des, it's got character. Will you hang it outside or in? Sal

It's inside on one of my dining room walls. It has character, perhaps, because it was DONE by a character....LOL

That is very cute! You did a great job. Never heard of a hex/house blessing sign. Where does that come from? ~Anj

It's design is taken "loosely" from some of the Pennsylvania Dutch hex signs. I just changed it to a "house blessing" theme.

Hex signs were used to "ward off evil spirits." They are very large sometimes and people would hang them on the front of their barns or homes. - Yes Des arc, a house blessing is exactly what it is. Again, very nice, and yes you are quite a character - make me smile and giggle. Thanks. Sal
