What to do with scraps of crown moulding?

| I have some scrap pieces of crown moulding left from my trim work. Do you have any ideas for what I could do with them? They are about 4 inches tall and vary in lenth, but most are not over about 8 to 12 inches long.
Thank you. |

| Hmmmm, what about shelves or put some small hooks on a piece to hang keys or something from. ~Anj |

| I used some crown molding as a decorative piece on the front of a planter my bro made for me. It just added that extra pizzaz to it. Hang onto it, you'll one day use it. |

| I was going to suggest a key rack or put knobs on one for a coat or towel rack. |

| I'm right in the middle of putting up crown moulding myself:) I saw something a while back, maybe Decorating Cents, the Trash to Treasure segment, where they used different pieces of crown moulding to make a spice rack, and I just loved it. It was painted a chippy white,or maybe the moulding was already white, lol,so it was a cottage-y,shabby looking piece:) |

| If you have stairs you could put molding along the fronts to decorate them, just attach it right under the "lip". ---------top of step------- [moulding here] |
