I ususally hang out in Stained glass, so some for some this is overkill.
I found these at GW a couple of weeks ago, much larger than photo.
Wall plant holders.

I removed the plant holder and the candle holders, painted them black and went to work.
Still working on the sconces, but you get the idea.

I plan to resin them for a nice finish.
Oh, by the way, those are bottle caps filled with beads then resin poured in.
Geeze, I really need to learn this photo thing.

Beautiful!! I just picked up about a dozen bottle caps at park last time I was up there for craft class. They were nice & clean & not bent, usually they are!! I had seen cute little lapel pins on "Craft & Decorations" forum before xmas last yr, I think resin works great. I've never used it. Guess I should check it out. Love the colors you used too!! Come by anytime!! Jan

Those are really pretty. Where do you buy resin? Is it in the Home Depot?

I get the resin at Michaels with the internet coupons for 40 to 50% off. It can be pricey.
I did just order the large kit from here at a really good price.
I have several things to do and plan on more treasure boxes so I needed the large quanity.

Here is a link that might be useful: Creative Wholesale

What a great way to recycle and repurpose items that have lost their style! I love the bottle caps filled with beads. Great idea for recycling them too. Be sure to post pictures of the finished projects!
