Okay, I picked this up at a garage sale. It is three times larger than the average mailbox. Of course, I am going to give it a paint job, but then...what???

I have 2 of those--One holds cat food (sits up like the second photo) the other one I use in the garden. It holds gloves, trowel and cutters, paper towels, white vinegar (in a glass bottle and is for the fire ant bites)and other garden things I need.

And, believe it or not, I had a cat one time who LOVED sleeping in the old mailbox I had in my garden. I gave up trying to keep garden trowels in it and put a cushion in there for her. She used it for years. You could also paint it a bright color and plant it with something that trails.

OMG Marlene, that's what I will do. I can't wait to paint it. This will be the first floor of my little Inspector's home!

I have a couple, one I use as a bird feeder set up on a post in the garden. We put peanuts inside it and the bluejays love to swoop in and get them. The other I used for garden tool, gloves etc and keep it on the edge of my workbench.
