My painted horse

Just thought i would share a picture of my painted horse, it was once a childs ride on horse but the springs broke and was headed to the trash, so i painted it and put it on a pvc pole (with help of DH) and now he is greeting everyone who comes down the driveway. Hope you like him.

That is great looking and such a good idea. Wish I had the one back now that I sold at my yard sale a few years ago. Guess you have already guessed what I'll be looking for at the next yard sale I go to.

Great job!!

RE: My painted horse

Thanks for sharing. That is really nice. We had one of those when we were kids, but my mom gave it away.

I was cleaning out my back shed for my garage sale last week and I found a small plastic horse that looks like yours, but it's on rockers instead of springs. My 20 mo latched onto it as soon as she saw what it was. I think I'll let her get too big for it and then fix it up.
