Teresa, I WSed my seeds also. Last year I tried the Champion Blue and got pretty much no germination. This year I tried the Pink, and got decent germination. The problem this year was our wet, cold spring. Like almost every other annual and vegetable I started from seed, the campanulas just didn't take off very well. I did plant them out, and to be honest, completely forgot about them until I saw this little pink cup in the garden. They were about 8 inches tall and blooming, lol! Obviously not cuttable, but I will let them go to seed and see if they volunteer. I will try again next year. Can you tell me where you buy your seed? Thanks! :) Dee

My box from Melissa arrived today! Inside was a very nice basket full of great stuff! Lots of chocolate goodies, which the kids immediately tried to talk me out of ... don't think so, LOL! Lilac and lavender scented candle Sharpie marker (thank you, thank you, my old one was just about dried up, and I use them for labeling my wintersown containers) Cute little notepad that says "If you pray for rain, be prepared to deal with some mud." (Love it!) Green metal turtle windchimes (very cute) Pair of heavy duty leather palm gloves (Boy did I need some of these! My husband's work gloves are way too big, and regular canvas or cloth garden gloves just aren't tough enough for some jobs.) In addition to all of these goodies, there were tons of seeds in the basket too: Greencrop bush beans Henderson bush lima beans Early Sunglow corn Parade cucumber (can't believe you found one I didn't already have) Poona Kheera cucumber (grew it for the first time last year. They were very large, and crisp, almost melon-like, and a very good producer.) Sakata's Sweet melon (Can't wait to try this one!) Orangeglo watermelon (on my wishlist) Louisiana Green Velvet okra (our nights might be too cool, but I'm going to try it anyway - I miss fried okra!) Burgess Buttercup squash Cocozelle squash (I almost sent this one to you too, LOL) Mini Bell Yellow pepper (Would you believe I grew a Mini-Belle Mix last year, and only got red and chocolate, no yellow, so thank you!) its 1:31 here, the boy is having company tonight, the only one we ever allow him to have over, LOL but i know talla has a crush on the boy and i think the feeling might be a little mutual, just a little. the boy is a little younger than tabor and a little older than talla. i told hubs, and we both agreed out of all the kids in this town he's the nicest one!! but i've been keeping my eye on them!! hey vic!! youve got that ol onery streak!! **big grinn*** that is sooo cool!! i missed that too!! when those seeds are harvested do ya want me to send ya some?? but you cant let little one eat any, well, in fact you cant either, and don't feed them to your hubs!! **onery grinn** that dark side is really bad!! the base of my "tree" is huge!! hubs said he was gonna chop it down ...i had to laugh at him really hard till i realizzed he was serious. then i told him, once it freezes they will die, so don't worry, i said i need those seeds baby!! and just kept chuckling!! he's just cute sometimes!! LOL tabor is helping me host the rr next month. now i have to go to the name that plant forum and see what some of my plants are!! i'm glad your pups are doing good!! wendy, i don't know if tabor emailed you, but he's waiting on the seeds of the bonarisis?? its drying out now, so i think he's about ready. he's upset with me now, because of our(my) goal, but the prize at the end for him is a youth bow that he's been wanting forever. he knows that. but he doesn't want to work so hard. After a long day of work, it was so nice to come home to a BIG box full of goodies. After a solid week of rainy days, this box certainly brought some sunshine into my home! After opening up to see what Diane sent me, my first thoughts were, "Do we know each other?". Checking her return address again, I know I have never had the pleasure of meeting anyone from Alabama. So, as I took each item out of the box, I began wondering how she could have selected such nice items just for me! In this fat box were the following items which she creatively tied our swap theme into: *A baggie full of green candy (yum) and green berry rush Hawaiian punch, and green Mojito Crystal Light (Diane, I immediately unwrapped the caramel apple lollipop!) : ) *A bag of Million Dollar Buttermint Creams. It held 20 pieces when I got it, but I think it's half full now! Can you tell I like candy? : ) *A bag of 40 flavors gourmet jelly beans - love these! *A pack of Strawberry Fields Tic Tacs. *A deck of cards with a beautiful floral design. *A large bag of Wint O Green LifeSavers. *A green expandable vase - perfect for my desk at work! *Village Naturals Therapy Mineral Bath Soak for Aches & Pains Relief with a Delicate Bath Pouf... such a nice thought! *Mandarin Orange Spice Herbal Tea - (I drink tea everyday!) *A darling 2013 Monthly planner with a floral design. *A Home Finance Bill Organizer. The cover and every page sports beautiful photographs of flowers and nature. *The Haul Helper. My husband tried to confiscate this one, but I told him hands off! I relented then when I saw his face of disappointment and said he could borrow it - once in awhile. *"Lift Your Spirits" wall calendar, which includes a small monthly planner. So colorful with lots of words of inspiration. *A little yellow canary that I think may be either a wall vase for rooting a plant or a decorative item to put in a planter to keep it moist. Diane, can you let me know? *A pack of "Dutchman Pipe Vine" seeds! I always wanted to grow these and Diane says I can grow them inside the house and outside, so I am looking forward to starting them.
