Hi pammadeit,

Mainly it was characters that drove 'em, too.

Top left is about a '53 Chev (truck), I think.

First car I drove was a '34 Ford, one of the first V-8s. Dad got it about 1940 - I first drove it up our lane about a mile from the back of our farm when I was 9. Stalled on upgrade out of a gravel pit - had to wait for Dad, who was pushing a newborn calf that a heifer had borne, to come along to drive it up the hill for me.

Life has its problems!
