Kirk-Its a mandrin honeysuckle. Always wanted one and treated myself. Theres also gerbera daisies, wave petunias and a couple perennials I dont remember. Countygrl-no I didnt make the box. Its a old rabbit hutch I scored from the side of the road. Trellis is a crib rail and legs are from a salvaged oak 4X4. I just put it all together.

g'day hank, it always pays to research trees before buying and planting, for larger specimens like the gums etc.,. the safe working distance from homes, sheds, overhead utilities etc.,. is the maximum height growth plus 50%. for me i just simply reckon most of those big forest trees just aren't suitable in suburbian gardens or streets. and lopping them just creates bigger problems as the new growth is more prone to parting company with the tree in bad weather or even in not bad weather. len mail len lens garden page

Here's the thing: I don't know what's in your water and the quantity of whats in your water to say. In addition to that, What you need to be aware of is the amount of water going through this (GPM). If this were my house I would not be using a 10" housing but instead using a 20" housing and using a filter that gives a low psi drop with 10 GPM or greater. I don't think you need to be too concerned about microns at this stage, you are trying to filter out the big stuff. Go with a larger micron filter (say 50 micron pleated polyester). Try your 10" housing and see how it works. Hopefully you have pressure guages on both sides of the housing so you can see the pressure drop (so you know when to clean or replace it).
