Trash To Treasure

Looking to swap beads and findings

I've never strayed from the seed and plant swap froums, but have huge amount of beads, charms and findings that I could swap for something, all sorts, if anyone is interested. I don't know, if not used for jewelry, maybe usable for wind chimes, mobiles, plant markers. Am I in the right place here?

Depends on what you want in exchange i think. If you want 'craft type stuff go to" Crafts & Decorations forum" Here is taking trash & changing into treasure so might have a sewing machine drawer or something on that order, go back through some of posts to see what has been posted. Good Luck! Jan

Well, the old blonde here forgot she'd recently recieved her Fire Mtn bead catalog in the mail. Looked up the 4 and 6 mm Swarovski bi-cone beads, they are the most sparkly in my opinion. You can get packs in different sizes but just for example, the 4mm in a pack of 48 is $2.25 for up to 14 packs. If you order more, the price goes down. The 6mm come in packs of 24 and they are for $2.42 each pack for up to 14 packs. The minimum shipping is $6.70. Otherwise it's approximately 10% of the order's cost. Hope this helps. Do a search for southwest furniture store Tucson. There are many places. I was at someone's home in Tucson where everything in the house was southwestern themed. Really gorgeous stuff. They said they got it at a store that specializes in it, in Tucson. (I love Tucson and the Sonoran Desert, by the way. I go there for a few weeks every year.) Color up your place with some desert greens.

a few swaps of tesserai (the stuff you glue to your base on a mosaic). The stuff you have sounds like good "tess".
