I want to make a large wall mirror using nine or twelve 12"x12" beveled mirror tiles. I am not sure what backing to use. I will use mirror mastic to adhere it and hang it using a french cleat. I would also like to frame it with something simple, just so the edges don't show. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Like this? I used double stick tape tabs in the corners, covered the interior seams with screen molding and the framed it with fluted molding.

Love the mirror, the beautiful plates and the blue switch plate cover!

So, dian57, you just put the mirrors directly on the wall? It's beautiful, but I want to be able to move the mirror when I need to, that is if I can find a weight-lifter who needs extra work..LOL, Suzeque

Yes, mine is applied directly to the wall. Didn't realize you were looking to make something portable. How about attaching with liquid nails to a piece of luan?
