It might be a bit much with two directly on the rug. Is the cream even available? The blue would be a muddle of patterns, I think, without more contrast in color. Go for it! It sounds like it will work just fine, IMO. : ) What else would you use the old fabric for? Couldn't you cover the the new chairs with it, and then later on, if you find something you think you'd like better, cover them again? Are you hoping to do it yourself? I've done this before by simply flipping the chairs over, unscrewing the seats from the bottom, peeling off the old fabric, and then making a new sandwich of fabric, maybe some fresh foam, and the wood, have someone heavy stand on top of the "sandwich" to squish everything down tightly, staple the fabric to the back of the wood, rescrew the whole thing together, flip the chair back over, done. The kind of speedy project I enjoy. : ) Having all the same fabric should help pull the different styles of chairs together, don't you think?

Pillow is great , but too big for the chair. I like the navy/white swatch closest to the pillow on the right, 2nd choice would be white/navy on the right.

I ended up using Nature's Miracle. I was really expecting it not to work--but it did. I sprayed liberally, blotted with a white cloth, then prayed the spray itself wouldn't stain. But it didn't! Stain and smell completely gone. Oh, the Nature's Miracle stinks almost as bad as the cat urine, but that smell too was gone in a couple days.
