Plaster and bisque lamps

There are a lot of old lamps at yard sales and thrift stores, including a lot of plaster and bisque. I have gotten ones that were old horrible style and with a new paint job in the style of the room they are great finds.

This one was painted a flat mint green and looked like a dirty, chippy tube of toothpaste! After I painted it gold and burgundy with a big of antiqueing the finish -- I thought it was a pretty great find for $5 -- of course I had to spend another $1 on a shade at another thrift store, lol.
