Using a brace & bit to make a rack

Posted by kylesgram (My Page) on

I've seen in one of the DIY magazines the idea of using an old hand drill - brace and bit to make a coat rack. Now I can't find the link. Has anyone seen this? I do remember that the drill was attached to a piece of wood. HELP!!

I first saw it on Junk Market magazine. Then I saw it on an HFTV show where someone people redid a bathroom and then a realtor told them how much it raised their equity. I have seen it on the Junk Market web site. I have been looking for a good while for it there, getting side tracked, lol, and got 1/3 thru the posts. After a break I will get back to it. But thought it might jog someones brain about where it is.

This book features a hand drill coat rack but there is no picture or anything at this link. You could try to find the book at a bookstore and look at it. In the link, click FEATURES to see the table of contents for the book. The coat rack is under MudRoom.
