Used an old pump I found at a yard sale a few years ago - we had to take out it's guts to make it work for this project. The washtub cost me less than $10., the fountain pump was found on eBay - I could've got a much less powerful pump and it would have worked just as well - this one is set on low. I did paint portions of the pump and the washtub and we made the shelf for the decorative pump to sit on. Added a water hyacinth already and maybe some mosquitofish later?? About a $40. project. DH and I are really happy with the way it turned out.
