| I have seen a very interesting wind chime made out of glass soda bottles that have been flattened. The sound is amazing.....does anyone know how to flatten the bottles...????Thanks in advance for any help.....Tammy |

| they used to do that in the 70's. I think they used torches to heat them and sometimes they stretched the necks out. I found a site on how to do it with a kiln. |

| My friend is making them now ... they're getting popular again . You do need a kiln - it takes about 45 minutes to flatten them & VERY high heat. |
