| Thank you!!!! I should also mention I only have $27.50 total in material to upholster both chairs! The upholstery shop I found locally marks down fabrics to $1yd when they get low on a bolt. Another shop was throwing out 4" foam slabs when the edges started to discolor from the sunlight they were sitting in(I got 3 slabs, stored them in my attic). |

This was my first attempt at tearing down chairs to the bones. I'm teaching myself upholstery. :0) No special tools....or machine I might add.  |

| I didn't comment on your linked post because I didn't want to register, but I also vote no on the painted wood. They look absolutely perfect just the way they are. I am soooo impressed. I'm also encouraged because you said you are self taught. |
