Antiqueing a Grecian statue

willsgram

I have just rescued this "lady" from a neighbor's yard sale. She's Grecian in style, I believe, and is holding a pitcher that pours water, when plugged in to an outlet. She's currently a goldish antique color and I definitely want to change that to either a gray or maybe a whitewash, with dark gray antiquing. She stands about 3ft. high and is pouring water into an oaken bucket. Any ideas would be welcome, since I've never done this before.
