 o
need ideas for bistro set....

my husband brought home a lovely 3 piece vintage metal bistro set last fall (free) but it needs a new table top & seats. Besides a glass top what are some other creative ideas?
And I'm thinking about doing mosiac seats, do you think they'll be too uncomfortable to sit on?
Any advice would be great, Thanks!

Kelly,

I guess it depends on whether you want to use the set ... or display the set. You could do mosaic seats for show, and puffy little cushions to tie on when you want to actually sit on them. I'm sure the mosaic would look lovely.

A ply wood circle, mosaiced would look nice as the table top.
We used a large round cement stepping stone with faeries on it, as a quick fix top for the table on the patio and it looked cute.
