I am spray painting some old plastic lawn chairs, colors have faded. What I would like to do is paint a base color, but then top paint with some flowers or other geometric designs for a funky look. My question is, what type of paint would be best for the designs? Mask off and spray paint, acrylics, acrylics with a sealer? any other paints that would adhere to plastic sprayed with a plastic compatible spray paint? Thanks, Kristi

I use regular acrylic paint and then put a clear sealer on it after it has dried for a day or so. Donna in Florida

Krylon makes a spray paint especially for plastic . I used it and it works great ! It's probably in any home improvement store. ( Cheaper than a craft store )

You can also get a primer for plastic to that goes of on before the paint.
