Trash to Treasure Coat Rack...Finally Done!

This has been a year long project for me. First to find a backboard and knobs that I liked, then to figure out how to attach it all to the board. We ended up tapping out the knobs and putting in inserts so that standard sized screws would fit. Unfortunatly this one was not so much trash to treasure as I bought the moulding from Home Depot and most of the knobs and the hooks from eBay (cost me about $60. in all) - but it could be done much cheaper if you could find things at yard sales. I just didn't have any luck finding the type I was looking for. I really love the hooks - they have a lion on the front and they have that rusty well-used look I was going for. I wonder where they were hanging 50 or more years ago? The rack is large - 7' long, the fairy plates were a gift from my mother.
