Here is what it says on the 3M site about outside use of the Command hooks: Q: Can I use Command adhesive outside in cold climates? A: You can, but the adhesive should be applied to a clean, smooth, dry surface when the temperature is above 50°F (10°C). If the temperature is below 50°F you can heat the surface with a hair dryer before application. Q: Can I use Command adhesive outside in hot climates? A: Extreme heat conditions and sunlight may cause the adhesive to eventually deteriorate, causing product failure. The adhesive could soften and lose adhesion above 105°F (40°C). I'm going to give them a try.....

I used the exploded diagram to identify the part needed, but it didn't really help in terms of how to take it apart. Sort of made it look like the main assembly just slides on & off, but there's definitely more to it than that. The puzzling thing is that I don't see any screws or fasteners to undo.

Makes sense. For the this type of nut is called a Stover Nut. Much like an Acron with the top removed. Channel-Locs, Vise Grips, 12 point socket or a Cresent wrench should all be able to remove the nut with ease.

I am running a new gas line. My plan is to fabricate a manifold at the point where the clothes dryer connection is. The dryer connects using Wardflex CSST. Obviously, I will need to disconnect the dryer fitting to do the work. My question is whether this connection, and CSST connectors in general, can be disassembled and reassembled. The Wardflex site makes mention of reassembly, but how do I know for sure this vintage (2005) is covered without replacing any parts, like one would a ferrule, for example? Are CSST fittings in general able to be disassembled and reassembled? I have been searching for this information and can't find any reference to it. My new line will probably be Home-flex which I picked up at HD. Thanks.
