I've been keeping an eye out for a vanity for my grandaughter's bedroom. That cabinet would be a cute one, with a mirror and painted shabby chic.

Thats a good idea, I was thinking maybe paint it white, and with a mirror above it. The one I found is a little bigger then the one in the picture, its taller, and has double the draw front, only one of the draws is a real draw. Wish I could replace the top with something...

Can't find the website now, but I recently saw an ornate one with the legs cut shorter, a piece of wood attached below the legs (for a shelf), then bun feet added - the whole thing was painted white and was used as a coffee table. I think it looked fabulous! Yours would make a nice dressing table or vanity though also.

My Gran used her antique sewing machine cabinet to sit her computer on. It was a beginner computer that only connected to MSN and didn't have any hard drive so it was even tinnier than a lap top but it could work for a lap top, too. Made a really nice computer desk!

You could mosaic the top or put a mirror on top and use as hall table...lovely!
