Great link- Thanks! I'll have to explore their site, as the model numbers in the design tool give no clue of the style of door. My biggest concern with having doors made would be cost. I'm building this house myself on a tight budget. I have money for good bones, not frills. Depending upon cost, I might just hang some cheap closet doors up for the short term, with an eye towards buying/building something better in the future. I've been looking for vintage doors this size, but anything under 24" or so seems pretty rare, at least around here. I'm still trying to find a 24" door in the style of my other antique ones. I found one- for $350! Considering I only paid $10 each for the rest of them, $350 for a closet door was a bit much.

Nancy, I got a good laugh out of that! Snookums, I too searched Houzz and was amazed by the results. I know I've never seen them in a home. I can barely imagine, though I am sure there are some, what application would be better served by partial doors than a full door. I agree that full length doors would be preferable. The person considering them for her bath, might have to have them custom made, but she could probably put a set of full length swinging doors there. Cafe doors would provide as much privacy as we all get in public restrooms right? So, they would solve at least half of the privacy issue. The person can't install a pocket door, barn door, etc. She could do bi-folds but I think I'd prefer the full length swinging doors for this application.

The closet plan needs to be drawn accurately to be able to see that the door should open inward. Hanging clothes require 24" of depth instead of the approx. 18" shown in the posted diagram. Clothes rods that turn corners create dead storage. The clear space in the middle should be at least 3 ft wide. If the hanging storage on the left side wall (as you enter) was shown as 24", then the storage on the right side would need to be no deeper than 12" to allow a 3 ft open space. But even with that configuration the storage immediately to the left as you enter would need to be removed to allow enough width for comfortable entering and to allow access to the storage in the corner. Using an in-swing door might reduce the shelving length by a foot but IMO that is not enough storage to justify opening the door out into the bathroom where it would be in the way. As for whether the door swings to the right or left, you should avoid putting a door knob in a corner especially when there is an obsticle on the adjacent wall. Which way did it get built? There is really only one good way to swing this door and fortunately the contractor realized it in time to correct the designer's mistake.

Quick update on GE French door double wall oven. The temp calibration is slightly off for the French door oven, upper oven, compared to from when I first posted in 2019. For example, if the oven setting for a recipe is supposed to be 400 , I find I have to set my oven temp at 425 or even slightly higher for my oven thermometer to show that the oven is at the right temp. This isn’t a big deal to me because I’m used to adjusting cook times and temperatures for recipes to fit our needs. I do think the temp difference is worth noting, though. i know I can recalibrate the oven temp. I just haven’t bothered yet.
